Dante Robino - Eclipsed Legacies

A tribute to the first female astronomers in history

The Gran Dante family labels feature famous astronomers who contributed to the knowledge of the universe. And thanks to the launch of the new Cabernet Franc varietal, we discovered that there were no portraits of female astronomers. This is how, through artificial intelligence, we created the first label with the portrait of a female astronomer. And to represent all of them, we chose Amelie Le Francais De La Lande.

But one label was not enough to honor all these female astronomers who, throughout history, were eclipsed. The history of the study of the universe is full of female figures who have illuminated our vision of space with their achievements and discoveries.
